I had a blast doing the music and was so worked up at the end that I forgot to tell everyone my amazing fact: that the "Paris Opera" set was never torn down and is still used today as part of the active Universal Studios complex, and was seen most recently as the abandoned Muppet Theater in last year's Muppet movie!

Thanks again for being part of the experience, and hope to see you at the Somerville or at other screenings. All the best!Jeff Rapsishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17644170925769760796noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-474883570056801679.post-45845779419960989672012-10-21T16:22:58.837-04:002012-10-21T16:22:58.837-04:00I just got home from the Phantom of the Opera show...I just got home from the Phantom of the Opera showing. It was just dynamite. I've never seen a silent film + live music, and it was amazing. Like time travel.

And that print--I had no idea about the tinting. I felt like Dorothy in Oz when the Bal Masque scene came on. I gasped!

Thanks so much for the opportunity. And I'll be looking out for more of them at the equally charming Somerville Theater. Mary Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11690284205118746208noreply@blogger.com
